Delete your Fitntial account
You can permanently delete your Fitntial account and all associated personal data at any time.
This page explains the two ways to do it and what data is removed or retained.
Option 1 — Delete from the app (recommended)
- Open the Fitntial app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and data are erased immediately. You will be signed out and redirected to the login screen.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, send us a deletion request from the email address linked to your Fitntial account.
We will reply with a confirmation email to verify your identity, and process the deletion within 30 days of confirmation.
Send deletion request
Send the request from the same email address you used to sign up.
We will send you a confirmation email before executing the deletion, to protect your account against unauthorized requests.
What data is deleted
- Account identifiers (email, name, profile picture, user ID)
- Fitness data: weight history, BMI entries, daily points, step counts
- Nutrition data: meals logged, custom recipes, food intake
- Workout data: completed programs, custom training sessions, exercise sets
- Social data: friends, friend requests, challenge invitations, comments posted
- AI-generated programs and nutrition plans
- Referral codes and related records
- Profile image stored in our cloud storage
What data may be retained

Billing and subscription records — under French accounting and tax law (Code de commerce, art. L123-22),
invoices and payment records must be retained for up to 10 years. This retention is based on a legal obligation
(Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Personal identifiers are minimized where possible.

Aggregated or pseudonymized analytics — non-identifying usage data may remain for service-improvement
purposes, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Content shared publicly (e.g. comments on shared challenges) may persist in a pseudonymized form
if tied to other users' experiences.
Active subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
To cancel, open the Google Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Fitntial → Cancel.
Processing time
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are processed within 30 days of identity verification.
After deletion, data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 7 days (Firestore point-in-time recovery window)
before being permanently erased.
Your GDPR rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, port, restrict,
or object to the processing of your personal data, in addition to the right to erasure described above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
